Ben Portsmouth will transport you back in time with barnstorming performances of many of Elvis Presley's most popular songs from all eras, including the 1950s, the legendary '68 Comeback Special, and Ben's personal favourite, the 1970s Vegas concerts, as he honours the life of an iconic showman and tells the story of the King through the show. Ben is a skilled guitarist who can switch between rock 'n' roll, gospel, and soul music with ease. The show also promises to feature lots of gorgeous costume changes and audience interaction. Since he was a young child, Ben had Elvis' DNA in his blood. Ben grew up listening to Elvis songs nonstop thanks to his father, who was a huge Elvis fan. Ben began his career as an Elvis tribute artist in 2005 when he founded the Taking Care of Elvis Band after honing his musical talent. After receiving numerous honours, Ben finally made history in August 2012 when he took first place in the Elvis Presley Enterprises "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest" in Memphis. This victory made Ben the first performer from outside the United States to hold the prestigious title of "Worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist." This production is recommended for ages 5+. Under 5s will not be admitted. All persons 16 of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be seated alone in the auditorium.
