An actor wants to share his experience, to save the world, but instead he must simply stand by and watch. As landscapes are crossed and cultures meet, even animals and a tree become involuntary observers of these traumatic tales of flight and displacement. Director Ofira Henig and actor Khalifa Natour describe the troubling plight of refugees from a range of perspectives in this timely and affecting performance of words, song, poetry and movement. The independent artists have been working together for 30 years, both presenting In Spitting Distance at the Barbican in 2008. Age Recommendation: 16+
