It follows a young runner during training, after she’s just heard she did not make the GB Paralympics athletics team. She contemplates what the future holds for her in a society so hostile towards the disabled, now that she’s failed to live up to its expectation of being an inspiration. Written and performed by Ellen Renton, the show is based on her experience of living with albinism. Renton’s soft-spoken but hard hitting poetry dismantles institutional ableism, inspiration porn, and the myth of the Paralympics. Supported by Unlimited and Creative Scotland. Age Recommendation: 12+
