Why have things been allowed to get this bad? Why is it our job to clean it up? Why didn't Pokemon prepare me for this? The generation of entitlement, participation trophies and snowflakes. That is how many see us. The generation of social change, technological revolution and pizza rolls. This is who we are. Examining our obsession with nostalgia as a reaction to several unprecedented decades of turbulence and uncertainty during our formative years, this project will both celebrate and mourn where we find ourselves. Seemingly stuck between a trauma filled childhood and an adulthood we feel massively unprepared for.
