About En Route

We invite you on a journey of discovery through different worlds, moving through the streets, green and iconic public spaces of Woolwich in the Royal Borough of Greenwich for En Route, running from Tuesday 27 July until Sunday 1 August 2021. Come along and see, hear, feel and breathe in the neighbourhood and get a fresh perspective, with dance, specially commissioned live music and storytelling. For our first public performance since the start of the pandemic, this is an opportunity to share a collective space and connect as we move out of isolation. En Route may last up to 3.5 hours and is approximately 4.5km in distance. Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors. Avoid bare legs or sandals as Woolwich Common has long grass. Please bring a picnic stool if you’d prefer not to sit on the grass. A walking experience, En Route aims to be inclusive, respectful and a safe place for everyone. Friendly volunteers will be on hand for help, we welcome assistance dogs, and wheelchair-accessible routes are available. Please allow 30 minutes prior to En Route to register at Woolwich Common, Woolwich, Royal Borough of Greenwich, London.
