A man, mid forties sits at home professing his love for his wife, while drinking a bottle of their favourite wine. A woman in her eighties, prepares for another night on the street recalling the life she once had, and now lives. A student violinist in her late twenties, plays 'Melody' by Myroslav Skoryk for the very last time. Written & Directed by RB8: RB8 was set up in 2015 by friends Kisha De Costa and Penny Bosworth. They are a writing duo who tell human stories for both adults and children around themes dealing with global issues. It is RB8'S mission to implement the importance of giving back, and what better way than storytelling. Human stories - United We Stand, is RB8's theatrical debut. It was written in support of the Ukraine, to acknowledge the struggle and trauma civilians now face every day while the war continues. ‘United We Stand’ Ukrainian Fundraiser Charity Event - May 15th at 7:30pm.
