Henry and Jake grew up with their mates in a quiet country town called Dulowl. A town where friendships were forged in failed adventures, bad habits and damp raves as they stumbled through adolescence looking for something to do. Then Henry moved away. Now he’s back but there’s no enjoying a welcome-home-pint without facing up to the reasons … and people he left. Welcome to a town where worlds are turned upside down in an instant, yet nothing seems to change. Writer Henry Madd stars alongside Darragh Hand (Nouveau Riche’s For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Hue Gets Too Heavy, New Diorama), in this funny and deeply moving blend of theatre and spoken word. Supported by Arts Council England. Originally programmed as part of VAULT Festival 2022. Age Recommendation: 12+ This show contains references to suicide, sexual and domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse.
