Sam is an embalmer who’s worked in the death industry and grown up in the funeral parlour where her sister Amy has taught her everything she knows about tending to the dead. However, when Maddie, a bright-eyed ex-cremator, joins the team, they find their views on death are challenged and the gap between their ideas on how to prepare bodies widens. Dead Positive follows the women behind the doors in the death industry. It aims to encourage people to have difficult but important decisions surrounding death and introduces audiences to the world of body preparations, allowing them to consider what they want to happen when they die, in a visceral but sensitive manner.
