Passengers, by award-winning UK trans artist Kit Redstone and director Jessica Edwards, explores the epic battles within the psyche and the beautiful power of the mind to protect itself. Kit Redstone is a trans artist whose previous work has been similarly autobiographical but addressing universal themes. Kit’s last show Testosterone, made in collaboration with Rhum and Clay Theatre Company, focused on masculine identity through the lens of Kit's experience as a trans man. Through the show being selected as part of the British Council Showcase in 2017, Kit worked with transgender communities and young actors in Brazil, Canada and Kazakhstan whilst touring. Testosterone won The Indies Award for Best Theatre Show at Edinburgh Fringe 2017 and was shortlisted for The Samuel Beckett Award, The Peter Brook Empty Space Award and The Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award. 15+ Tags: Access & Disability,Devised,Physical Theatre *Strong language and adult themes
