PRIDE & PREJUDICE – THE GAY PANTO returns to the White Bear Theatre this December. Following the sold-out three week run in 2019 Waste Not Theatre have a significantly redeveloped script, even more scandalous characters and classic gay anthems; bawdy scene and high-campery with a liberal sprinkling of festive spirit. So, let us visit this delicious world of the Bennets. After all, it is a truth universally acknowledged that a great novel can only be enhanced by a bit of filth. Think slapstick, think cock fighting, cross-dressing sisters and a hunk-in-trunks! All the central characters will be featured, but not as Austen fans currently know them to be. You’ll never be able to think of Pride & Prejudice in the same way again. Adapted by Kevin Quin, directed by Scott Wright and brought to life by Waste Not Theatre PRIDE & PREJUDICE – THE GAY PANTO runs from December 8th to 23rd with Saturday matinees, early evening performances on Sundays and a discounted package so you can sample the White Bear’s Christmas menu before the show.
