Stick Man starts his day with a morning job which becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man: a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and things start to heat up when he ends up on a fire! The Story Unfolds: Origins and Evolution
Freckle Productions' cherished adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's Stick Man returns to the Bloomsbury Theatre. In this delightful production, Stick Man sets out for his morning jog, only to have his plans disrupted when a dog wants to play fetch and a swan uses him to build her nest. Things take a turn for the worse when he even finds himself caught on fire. How will Stick Man manage to return to his family tree?
Behind the Scenes: Crafting the Spectacle
The debut performance of Stick Man Live on Stage took place at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on November 17, 2015. This award-winning show is created by the same talented team behind Zog and Zog and the Flying Doctors.
In 2008, Stick Man won the prestigious Roald Dahl Funny Prize. Its author, Julia Donaldson, is one of the most beloved and respected children's authors in the UK. Alongside award-winning illustrator Axel Scheffler, Donaldson also brought the much-loved The Gruffalo to life, creating a lasting legacy of treasured children's books.
