About Allegra

Dame Maureen Lipman returns to the West End in Allegra, a new comedy by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Peter Quilter, playing at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 8 July to 8 August 2026. Directed and choreographed by Stephen Mear, this joyous new production introduces Allegra to London audiences again. Allegra is a joyous comedy about a woman whose irrepressible urge to sing turns everyday life into music, much to the delight and chaos of those around her. Maureen Lipman stars alongside John Middleton, Elizabeth Bower and Bailey Patrick in a heartwarming story of love, care and connection on stage.
