About Rehab The Musical

Rehab The Musical is a hilariously entertaining production that tackles the weighty themes of mental health, celebrity, and addiction with a blend of warmth, empathy, humor, and heart. Set in 1999, the story revolves around Kid Pop, a world-weary 26-year-old pop sensation who lands in court due to a drug-fueled scandal exposed by the tabloids. Facing a compassionate judge, Kid is presented with a choice: serve time in jail or embark on a six-week journey at a rehabilitation center. Seemingly a no-brainer, Kid eagerly opts for rehab, thinking it will be a vacation. However, he soon discovers just how mistaken he is. "Rehab the Musical" artfully balances humor with the sobering reality that substance abuse doesn't offer any real solutions. The production takes audiences on an emotional rollercoaster, set to a magnificent musical score that enhances a timeless and universally relatable narrative of striving to make positive changes in our lives. It reminds us that, for today, we can be better. Age Recommendation: 12+ Content: Please note the show contains strong language, sexual references, and references to addiction and drugs The show will run at Neon 194 (194 Piccadilly, London W1J 9LN)
