About Adriana Mater
Amid a brutal civil war, Adriana becomes pregnant after a violent assault by a soldier. She chooses to keep the child, raising her son Yonas with love and hope while concealing the truth of his father. Years later, Yonas discovers his origins and becomes consumed by a desire for revenge. In a gripping climax, Adriana tries to convince Yonas that true strength lies in mercy rather than murder, arguing that only by breaking the cycle of violence can healing begin. A bold retelling of Tosca, it can be experienced alone or paired as part of a wider narrative arc story.
