About How to Build a Lighthouse / Working On My Night Moves

BEN TARGET How to Build a Lighthouse // 7.30pm Tales of belonging, goodbyes, forgiveness. life that spans oceans. Critically-acclaimed artist and Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee Ben Target presents a tender show for the soft-hearted. A show about goodbyes, loneliness and never being able to feel at home. It’s time to say goodbye to your baggage with storytelling, origami tutorials and thumping rock anthems. * * * JULIA CROFT AND NISHA MADHAN Working On My Night Moves // 9pm A mesmerising dreamscape of tinfoil astronauts, dispersing atoms, The Wizard of Oz and Enya, inverting, making and remaking the entirety of time and space. Winner of a Total Theatre Award 2019, Julia Croft and Nisha Madhan are breaking the rules, the patriarchy and the space-time continuum. Working On My Night Moves is the search for multiple feminist futurisms, a reaching for outer space and a fever dream. With science fiction, quantum physics and dubstep mash ups, this is a quest for utopia.
