After years of warfare, an idyllic Italian village finds itself blooming once more. However, young lovers Claudio and Hero, along with the bantering singles Beatrice and Benedick, soon discover that appearances can be deceiving in their picturesque surroundings. Entangled in a series of mischievous games, pranks, and plots, they realise that beneath the village's beauty lies a realm of unexpected twists and turns. Globe Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes directs this Elizabethan-dress production. Please note: This is a roofless (open air) theatre.
