Wasn’t expecting it to me as fun! Although it does not have many memorable numbers, it compensates with humour and great acting. In a style of old school comedies like “Men prefer blondes”. Definitely a positive surprise!Read more →

A wonderful old fashioned fizzing revival of Cole Porter musical not seen in London in 20 years. The stunning Sutton Foster, a Broadway Tony award winning import leads a top notch cast. An unmissable good looking funny, heart warming, toe-tapping show!Read more →
The ballads of the 2 young leads were super boring (in my opinion) BUT otherwise it was supreme. I first saw Sutton Foster 12 years ago on Broadway and she’s even better today - she sings like a dream and taps like a demon. The songs are so charming&the choreography is amazing. Felicity Kendall doesn’t really have enough to do but made me lol with some gems, Robert Lindsay is fun&silly as a gangster trying to be more menacing than he is, Carly Mercedes Dyer was great as his moll Erma, but it’s Sutton who shines forever in my dreams. This show is pure joy&I’d recommend it to all. Delightful! Delicious! 🚢Read more →

Going into this, I had no expectations. I knew nothing about the show, and to be honest, I only went to see it because of Sutton Foster. But it was just so amazing. Sutton was amazing, but Robert Lindsay was an absolute highlight for me. It was so funny, the costume and set was gorgeous, and that tap number at the end of act one was phenomenal!Read more →

Hi octane razzmatazz and playful shenanigans aboard SS American, as gangsters (disguised as priests) and their molls, rub shoulders with aristocrats and where every other line of dialogue is an eyebrow-raising wisecrack which serves as a prelude to one of Cole Porter’s wonderful, toe-tapping tunes.
Look out for “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” which brings the house down and the energised and uplifting title number “Anything Goes” where the entire company (led by Tony Award winner Sutton Foster) dust-off their tap shoes and blow the roof off the Barbican. Fantastic fun and frolics.Read more →
