Prepare for an all-out assault on your senses. Rocky Horror’s latest incarnation sticks firmly to its well-worn tried and tested formula to deliver a fun two hours of musical mayhem. Although the pace dropped in the second act as the loose plot struggled to hold, the hits kept coming and an ever enthusiastic audience contributed with traditional call-outs - although there is always that one person who thinks they need to shout out a bit too often! What was subversive in the 1970’s is now really very jolly. In the first half the cast seemed to be battling a very knowing and noisy audience and also battling the iconic performances in the film. It seemed laboured and bargain basement. Something must have happened during the interval as in the second half the cast had pizzazz, and the scenes were laugh out loud funny. What a fun ,energetic , interactive and hilarious show this is! Cast is brilliant , in particular the voices of Ore Oduba as Brad and Stephen Webb as Frank-N-Furter are absolutely fabulous.
