Evocative and polished tunes and an inventive staging transform the Menier into post-WW2 Vienna. The dream scene and the cabaret numbers (including “I am madly in love with Klaus / who wants me to be his spouse”) are worth the ticket alone.
Shame about the theatre being only half full (probably because of lukewarm newspaper reviews), but that is a chance to move to a better seat with a cheap ticket.Read more →
