A phenomenal performance from Sean Hayes supported by an excellent cast. He must surely win the Olivier to add to his Tony. A play made all the more relevant with recent events around the censorship of TV in the US. This fictionalised account of a Tonight Show episode featuring real historical figures deals with mental issues, medical ethics, family dynamics and the demands of TV ad revenue shaping content and censorship, wraps all of this into an hour and forty minutes of wrought emotions and no shortage of laughs.
