Excellent performance, especially when considering the updates to the content for inclusivity & diversity throughout. A hilarious musical adaptation of the film, & this production was thoughtful & refreshing - as well as filled with a super talented cast, fun choreography & costumes, & an extra light-hearted interpretation of the dogs. Everyone was entertaining & brought something to their character. Very enjoyable. Don't think I've enjoyed a show this much ever. The smile never left my face. Courtney Bowman is sensational as Elle Woods as she is in anything (bias sorry). Luckily got to see Billy Luke Nevers' Emmett debut which is mega and he is a star. Lauren Drew as Brooke Windam and opening the Act 2 with 'Whipped into Shape' was something that could only be believed by seeing it... phenomenal. I can’t believe they’ve managed to ruin one of my favourite musicals. I hated it from the minute it started until it ended. There wasn’t even a redeeming feature that might have made it bearable. If I’d been on my own I would have left at the interval. I’m not going to get personal about performers but none of them could live up to the original London cast.
