Excellent performance, especially when considering the updates to the content for inclusivity & diversity throughout. A hilarious musical adaptation of the film, & this production was thoughtful & refreshing - as well as filled with a super talented cast, fun choreography & costumes, & an extra light-hearted interpretation of the dogs. Everyone was entertaining & brought something to their character. Very enjoyable. I can’t believe they’ve managed to ruin one of my favourite musicals. I hated it from the minute it started until it ended. There wasn’t even a redeeming feature that might have made it bearable. If I’d been on my own I would have left at the interval. I’m not going to get personal about performers but none of them could live up to the original London cast.
