The story is faithful to the original movie but it’s also a funnier, more realistic and darker urban fairytale. Craig Lucas, Daniel Messé and Nathan Tysen’s adaptation has been reworked for the UK audience and Michael Fentiman directs with gusto - in the second half is where this production comes to its own unique sparkle. Madeleine Girling‘s stage design is ingenious,. Audrey Brisson as Amélie offers an exquisite voice and a wonderful physical comedy, Danny Mac is a scruffy and tender Nino and the rest of the cast of musicians-actors and performers is engaging and astoundingly gifted.Read more →

Saw UK Tour. Had no idea what to expect, but Amelie is an absolutely fantastic show. I love the new adaption from the original Broadway production. The quality of songs were fantastic, both in terms of performance and writing. A brilliant (and quite strange at times) show!Read more →
