Wow. Just wow!
It’s rare for me to be fully involved in a play’s plot, but this one is just something you never expect to see and experience. It’s smart, it’s hilarious, it’s brilliantly written, played and staged. Even though the subject is not original, the creators have managed to deliver it with authenticity and beauty that nothing can compare with.
A round of applause for the actors, Jonny Lee Miller is an absolute star.

Powerful, meta, timely. Very clever use of a “play within a play” concept. Stage design deserves its own award. The cast was amazing!Read more →

Deserves awards and long-run bookings. The setting is great especially if you are sitting at the wedding guest bit - there’s a sense of interaction. The writing is so clever, layer after layer, the topic is so relevant and complex but was delivered in an intriguingly balanced way. The acting from everyone was phenomenal, Jonny Lee Miller was amazing. Don’t want to spoil it - just go and watch it yourselfRead more →

A salutary reminder that theatre is an ancient collective rite practised by humans to express and to witness accounts of their societies and their culture. It holds up a mirror to ourselves. Plays are constructed narratives but we take for granted the privilege that these are freely expressed. This ‘Mirror’ reflects on the role of narratives and authorial voice in a tricksy set of tales within tales which feel reminiscent of writers like Vaclav Havel subverting the reality of communist authoritarianism and illustrating deeper truths. Oh and it’s rather wonderfully performed and staged.Read more →

I liked it but I was not amused by this play. Great dialogue and acting, the story line was very good too. At one point the flashing lights and the music was very loud- not very good for people sensitive to this.Read more →
